Editorial policy
Our articles aim to help parishes and parishioners in practice. These are the rules they are written by.
Practical use
We write about questions parishes really have: memorials, baptisms, the church calendar, organisation, data.
Respect for the Church
On worship and pastoral matters, your priest and Metropolis have the final word. We do not give spiritual direction.
Official sources
For administrative and legal matters we point to official bodies such as gov.gr, data protection authorities and ecclesia.gr.
What we promise
- We do not publish invented statistics, testimonials or parish examples.
- We do not give specific deadlines, fees or legal provisions where they change often; we point to the official source.
- Every article shows the date it was last updated.
- Where we talk about Convivia, we say so plainly: the product is in development and features may change.
Who writes
Articles are written by the Convivia team, starting from the day-to-day organisation of an Orthodox parish in Greece and the diaspora.
